Bear Bone Smith, SASS #10719

History of the
Persona:
According to an old journal
dated 1886, the original "Bear Bone Smith" was a Blacksmith from Iowa who
went west to become a Farrier on a cattle ranch. He learned cowboying and
shooting during the range wars. Later, he became town Marshal of Ada,
Oklahoma where he killed a crooked gambler who's brother was the Mayor.
Out of a job, he hired on as a scout for the U.S. Army under General Crook
during the Indian Campaigns. He got his name when he killed a large
Grizzly bear which he skinned and de-boned with a knife he had made from
an old horse rasp.
Other Hobbies:
Horse riding, hunting,
fishing and blacksmithing.
Last Thoughts:

knife on his belt ain't no cowboy", Wil Rogers.
To all you shooters out there.... Don't learn safety rules by accident.
Take care all you buckeroos.
